Technically, you don’t have to—but just know it might be obvious, especially on ceilings. All of our drywall and plaster repairs dry white, but the patched area will reflect light differently than the rest of the surface. A lot of customers leave small patches unpainted, and that’s totally fine—but in areas like kitchens or bathrooms, unpainted areas can attract moisture over time. If you want it to really disappear, a little primer and paint goes a long way. Plus, it helps protect the surface underneath.
